- A system that provides dynamic video surveillance for ports and harbors, waterways and coastal zones, dams and bridges, remote sites and facilities. Can provide detailed visual monitoring, day and night, from 100 meters to 5 km or more.
- The WAVMS connects up to 8 RVC-4 pan-tilt-zoom rugged video cameras via a VCS-4 Video Controller Server to your LAN and your computer.
- Authorized users (User ID and password required from user administrator) need only a web browser to access the main control and display web page for all cameras in the system.
- A digital map of the monitoring area is presented on the web page. The user interacts with this map to control the cameras (mouse click on the map and the nearest camera presents that view immediately) and see exactly where each camera is pointing (graphic lines extend from each camera location on the map to the point that is the center of view for taht camera).
- On the web page is one large streaming video window and 4 or 8 smaller thumbnail images showing each camera view updated once every 1-2 seconds. Selecting any thumbnail image instantly presents that camera view as live streaming video in the large window.
